Finance is a broad term encompassing many aspects of our workforce across the world. It refers to anything associated with banking, credit, leverage or debt, capital markets, investments, and money, but also can apply, in general, to the study of money, oversight, creation, and financial systems. Studying finance, students have ample opportunities within the workforce to use the soft and hard skills they learn from SkillsUSA Ohio. Within our program, students will receive vast education from trusted and skilled industry educators and leaders to prepare them for their journey into the financial world.

Some of the responsibilities falling into this pathway for careers include:

• Planning, forecasting, and executing financial budgets

• Banking services

• Excellent attention to detail for tracking, recording and preparing finances

• Knowledge of Profit & Loss and financial statements
